On Friday 16th June the whole school visited the Three Counties Show. The weather for our visit was glorious, in fact it was a little too hot and sunny! The children were able to see and sometimes touch a variety of animals and learn about them by speaking with their owners. They were able to learn about lots of different countryside pursuits and events that feature largely in rural life.
The children had the opportunity to watch a gundog display, falconry display and a mini pony show where the pony even did some maths! The excitement continues in the afternoon when we were all amazed to see the quad-bike stunts that ended with a jump over two vans and a car! Finally, the children watched a team of skydivers enter the arena before embarking on the coach journey home.
We would like to say a big thank you to those parents who accompanied us to the show and helped make the day extra special for the children.
