As parents of Year 6 children will be aware, last week our Year 6 pupils had SAT’s week. Each and every child sitting the tests were absolutely amazing all week. As much as they are told ‘not to worry’ and that ‘they don’t matter for you’, they do still cause anxiety and stress for all children.
Each of the children were focussed, worked extremely hard and most importantly, they did their best which is all we can ask.
Hopefully they can relax now, look forward to Oakerwood the week after next and to the events and learning activities that we have planned before they leave Kings Caple to embark on the next stage of their academic learning.
