We successfully held our first recycling and reuse community collection on Thursday 16th February. We acted as a collection point for the Herefordshire Community Recycling and Reuse Group. Our local Kings Caple community dropped off a whole host of items including crockery and china, bicycles, books, CD’s, costume jewellery, craft items and fabrics, garden tools and sewing machines. These items will all be recycled or reused by someone else reducing waste to landfill and ensuring that often perfectly good but unwanted or needed items find a new purpose or home.
We will be holding another ‘drop off’ at school on Thursday 30th March between 10am and 2pm, so please feel free to bring us anything that you no longer want or need!
