Class 2 have been sketching in art to improve their pencil grip and control. They have understood that sketching is a very fluid and relaxing activity with the best results occurring when using not only finger grip and hand movement but also wrist and lower arm movements. The children have progressed from making simple marks to both drawing and even shading 3D shapes.
