Last week our Year 6 children had their SAT’s. This can often be a worrying time for children and parents alike and this year things were a little different as it is the first year of SAT’s since the start of the pandemic. We are exceptionally proud of our Year 6 children. They approached the week and each paper in a very mature way and each child gave of their very best each day. Children in other classes and year groups are equally deserving of praise as they ensured the school was quiet throughout the week and were supportive of their friends throughout. The summer term is always a time for assessments and we now turn our attention towards Key Stage 1 SAT’s, Phonics and Multiplication Tables checks where again we hope our children will benefit from the supportive family environment that exists within the school.
