Following a two year break due to the pandemic we will be swimming again in the Autumn Term. Years 1 to 6 will swim on Monday afternoons for 10 weeks beginning on the 20th September. The last session will be on Monday 29th November. Reception do not swim. A letter outlining plans and costs will be sent out in due course when they are finalised, together with a swimming consent form. For those parents not familiar with swimming we leave school on a coach at approx 12.30 and travel to the pool at Ross. The lesson is held between 1.30pm and 2pm and we return to school for the normal school close of 3pm. Children should bring their clearly named swimming costumes, towels and goggles in a named bag. Those with long hair need to wear a swimming hat. If a child is unable to swim for any reason we would be grateful if parents would provide as much notice of this as possible.
