Thank you to the PTFA for funding a great trip to Madley Environmental Centre, where he children had the opportunity to pond dip for a variety of creatures such as water scorpions and diving beetles. The children really enjoyed spotting bog babies on a wooden bridge near one of the ponds. When we returned to school the class wrote some fantastic recounts of our trip. The whole class worked on using time connectives to structure their writing and correctly use past tense.
